INSIGHT High School Program Opens Applications for 2021

The University of Washington’s INSIGHT High School Program has opened applications for summer 2021.

Students will take a deep dive into injury prevention research through various activities. The program is open to high school students entering grades 10-12 or recently graduated. The 2021 summer program offers two session options to attend. Accepted students are expected to attend a single four-week session in full.

Dates:

  • Session A:
    o June 21st- July 16th, 2021
    o Payment in Full: $2,200 upon application

Application and Payment close date – June 11th

  • Session B:
    o July 19th – August 13th, 2021
    o Payment in Full: $2,200 upon application

Application and Payment close date – July 10th

Hours: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. PST Monday through Friday.

Location: For 2021, the University of Washington’s INSIGHT High School Program has been adapted to an online format to follow public health guidelines.

Selection Criteria: University of Washington’s INSIGHT is open to current high school students entering grades 10-12 or recently graduated. Applicants are evaluated holistically based on (1) answers to the essay questions, and (2) grades. Please note that while there is no minimum GPA, we expect that students arrive prepared to work and learn.
