Stop the Bleed trainings resume in September

At a Seattle Stop the Bleed training, a trainee practices tightening a tourniquet while the instructor demonstrates placement.Stop the Bleed trainings are set to resume at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for the fall.

In these courses, participants learn life-saving techniques from medical professionals on responding to emergencies. Topics include how to identify potentially fatal bleeding, how to stop the bleeding until emergency responders arrive, and how to choose the right equipment for the job.

The trainings are free and open to the public, but registration is required. Learn more at the Stop the Bleed website.
