Various HIPRC Members presented current injury and violence-related research at the 15th Annual Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine Academic Evening.

HIPRC Trainee, Maeve Muldowney virtually received an award for Clinical Science Research Abstract for her project titled, “Ultramassive Transfusion for Trauma in the Age of Hemostatic Resuscitation: A Retrospective Single-Center Cohort from a Large US Level-1 Trauma Center, 2011-2021.”

The Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine holds this invitation-only event annually. It is intended to showcase departmental resident, fellow, CRNA, graduate students, and junior faculty academic productivity (clinical and basic science research, case reports, education initiatives, etc). Senior faculty members are invited to submit an abstract if they do not have junior associates in their research group.
