The University of Washington will host its annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Friday, November 10th at 11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at the UW Seattle, Medal of Honor Memorial.
At the ceremony, the HIPRC Core Faculty member John Hess, MD, MPH, ’72 — a U.S. Army colonel — will receive the 2023 Distinguished Alumni Veteran Award.
This event is OPEN to the public (no registration required). FREE on-campus parking is available in unrestricted lots and non-gated facilities. Note: In observance of Veterans Day, this Friday, November 10th is recognized as a university holiday.
