Two new teams were awarded the Translational Research Partnership Award for New Interdisciplinary Academic Collaborations for their projects – these recipients were selected from a diverse group of applicants whose research spans across the translational science spectrum, including basic research, clinical implementation, public health, and clinical and pre-clinical research:

  • HIPRC Core Faculty and UW Professor of Surgery, Dr. Grant O’Keefe and his teammate, Dr. Chihiro Morishima of the UW Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology were awarded for their project entitled “Early detection of post-traumatic sepsis”
