The people of the University of Washington’s Harborview Injury Prevention & Research Center fiercely condemn the killing of George Floyd while in police custody, and add our voices to the horror, anger and resolution to confront violence and racism experienced by people of color across the United States. We aim to support the marginalized and stand together to help defeat the hate and violence. Echoing the UW community, we have an individual and collective responsibility to demonstrate our core values of equity, diversity and inclusion in action.
