Transforming Injury and Violence Prevention: Innovations in Policy, Practice, and Partnerships

2015 IVP SummitThe Northwest Center for Public Health Practice, Public Health Training Center, Washington State Department of Health, and Harborview Injury Prevention and Research Center invite leaders from public health, health care, and community organizations to Transforming Injury and Violence Prevention: Innovations in Policy, Practice, and Partnerships, a one-day summit to discuss successful strategies and collaborations.

The summit takes place Friday, November 13, 2015 at the SeaTac, Washington Marriott Hotel. Participants will: develop new and strategic partnerships to leverage resources; gain an understanding of the changing public health and health system landscape for injury and violence prevention; identify promising policy solutions to advance injury and violence prevention; and innovate practices to transform the injury and violence prevention landscape. This summit is aimed at the following audiences: decision-makers and leaders from public health, health care, and community-based organizations who are interested in injury and violence prevention. Includes: senior-level program managers; hospital executives and administrators; physicians and clinical leaders; researchers; leaders from health departments, community health organizations, and community health centers.
