The HIPRC is excited to partner with Dr. Stacy Rasmus and the Center for Alaska Native Health Research at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Drs. Patel and Rasmus are collaborating to investigate Alaska Native elder perspectives on climate change, aging, and injury risk. This qualitative study aims to engage with Alaska Native elders to gain insights on community adaptation and potential mitigation of climate-related health risks that threaten public health.
