Healthy Kids Day
Free and open to the public, this annual event features fun-filled activities to celebrate kids being kids.
The YMCA of Greater Seattle is hosting the Y’s annual Healthy Kids Day®, presented by UnitedHealthcare and Coordinated Care, on Saturday, April 29, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm at locations across King County.
This free, annual event features a variety of family-friendly activities to encourage healthy kids, healthy families, and a healthy start to the summer season.
Healthy Kids Day’s mission is to turn fun and play into lifelong memories. Some featured activities include healthy snack demonstrations, water safety, prizes, summer camp crafts, sports challenges, bounce houses, and more.
The Harborview Injury Prevention & Research Center will be holding a drowning prevention table at the YMCA Meredith Mathews East Madison location (1700 23rd Ave, Seattle). Come say hello! Games, resources, and more will be available at our booth! The Y’s Healthy Kids Day will also be announcing Swim Seattle, a new program designed to reduce drownings and remove barriers for Seattle children to obtain comprehensive, free swim lessons.
