INSIGHT REACH Returns for Second Year

By: Alexandra de Leon Date: August 4th, 2023

The HIPRC’s Summer Research Training (INSIGHT) program for undergraduate, graduate, and first-year medical students brought it’s REACH summer program back for a second year! Over 80 students from across the globe signed up for this free online asynchronous program.

INSIGHT REACH students were introduced to a variety of injury and violence prevention topics and received eight-week exclusive access to injury prevention education modules and lectures. The curriculum was offered by leading injury and violence prevention experts. Students that completed the REACH program received a Certificate in Injury and Violence Prevention.

INSIGHT REACH originated with funding from the Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation and is supported by the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD). It is a continuation of our NIH-funded program that will connect students globally with a shared interest in Injury and Violence Prevention Research.
