Office of Equity and Community Partnerships looking for Disability Justice Manager

The Office of Equity and Community Partnerships in the Director’s Office, Public Health-Seattle & King County (PHSKC), is seeking a Disability Justice Manager (Project/Program Manager III) who will bring their lived experiences as well as their technical knowledge to provide subject matter expertise and policy guidance to the Office of Equity and Community Partnerships, Public Health – Seattle & King County. The position will establish equity justice practices and partnerships with the disability community and other governmental and non-governmental organizations to facilitate learning and best practices. As Public Health – Seattle & King County has declared racism is a public health crisis, the position will focus on advancing the intersection of disability and racial justice in Public Health.

This is a term-limited temporary (TLT) or Special Duty Assignment (SDA) position funded by a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) COVID-19 and Health Equity grant which has a budget period from June 1, 2021, to at least September 2023. This position will contribute to the grant’s goal of reducing health disparities in COVID-19, other health conditions, and the social determinants of health within the King County disability population.
