The Internet opens the world up for kids, and that means they can sometimes experience parts of the world we don’t want them to see. One can proactively set boundaries and expectations for healthy online behavior for your family, but having these conversations is not always easy.
Safer Internet Day lands on February 6, 2024. The day aims to not only create a safer internet but also a better internet, where everyone is empowered to use technology responsibly, respectfully, critically and creatively.
The global theme of Safer Internet Day 2024 is Together for a Better Internet. Here in the U.S., the focus is on six topics:
Internet Safety is for EVERYONE
WA State Patrol is proud to partner with the Internet Crimes Against Children (iCAC) Task Force Program and NetSmartz to keep children, their families, and individuals of all ages safe while online.
